I created Luxe After 60 after stepping away from a career that had defined much of my adult life and discovering something I hadn't completely expected:

Retirement isn't really about what you stop doing.

It's about deciding what you want to do next.

For me, that has meant more time to travel, create a home where people love to gather, take better care of myself, discover new places and experiences, and say yes to opportunities I might once have been too busy to notice.

Luxe After 60 grew from that experience.

It's a place for those of us who believe this chapter of life can be every bit as interesting, beautiful and adventurous as the ones that came before it.

Who Luxe After 60 Is For

Luxe After 60 is for women—and anyone approaching or enjoying this stage of life—who aren't interested in simply slowing down.

We're still curious.

We still want to discover new places, create beautiful homes, take care of ourselves, entertain friends, try something new and occasionally splurge on something that makes life just a little better.

You won't find many rules here about what life after 60 is supposed to look like.

How I Choose What Appears on Luxe After 60

My goal is simple: recommend things I would genuinely consider using, experiencing or sharing with someone I care about.

Some stories come directly from my own experiences. Others require research, comparison and conversations with people who know far more about a subject than I do.

When researching products, destinations or services, I look at multiple sources whenever possible, including company information, independent reviews, customer experiences and available expert guidance.

I won't love everything I try—and when something doesn't live up to expectations, I'll tell you that too.

For wellness topics in particular, Luxe After 60 is intended to share information and personal exploration, not provide medical advice. I encourage readers to do their own research and talk with qualified healthcare professionals when making decisions about their health.

I'm the founder of Luxe After 60.

After more than three decades in the corporate world, I retired and suddenly found myself with something that had been in short supply for years:

time.

Time to travel differently. Time to entertain more. Time to create beautiful spaces. Time to focus on wellness. Time to spend long mornings over coffee and long evenings around a table with people I love.

And time to wonder:

What do I want the next 20 or 30 years to look like?

Luxe After 60 is where I'm exploring that question—and sharing what I discover along the way.

I'm not interested in creating a picture-perfect version of retirement.

I'm interested in creating a really good one.
